Our congregations from the 123 churches have multiple ten’s of thousands of born again believers and are growing every week!

Our Mission : Since 1999 Impact Ministries has been devoted to changing lives of Children through the power of Jesus Christ. We serve children in Uganda from 18 districts with a commitment to meeting their most basic needs. We feed and cloth them, educate them and help them grow spiritually. Our spiritual growth program gives boys and girls the opportunity to know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord. Our children are the fortunate few that have been rescued from a life of hunger and poverty; given the opportunity for education, social and spiritual development.

 

Shelter: The children are sheltered in boys’ and girls’ dormitories within of orphanage. The children use triple decked beds and are provided with mattresses, a blanket and mosquito net. Due to limited space and funds, some of the children share beds.

 

Feeding: Impact Ministries tries to feed the children three times a day. At times the children must make due on two meals a day. The main food is a maize meal and beans. They have porridge for breakfast. Most of our children came to us from the streets and slums. If they do not get enough food, they try to escape back to the streets. It is quite a challenge to feed 700+ children but the Lord meets their daily need and keeps them fed and happy.

 

Education: Impact Ministries believes that education is the key to transforming lives. The children in Impact Child care Program are provided with the education necessary to break the cycle of poverty. They are exposed to the opportunities that can be theirs by working hard in further developing their learning skills. Our Education program gives boys and girls the opportunity to succeed educationally through attending school on a regular basis. We provide school materials and uniforms. After completing their basic education, students can choose to continue on to trade school or other further studies that will make them employable in their community.

 

Medical CareThe widespread problems of HIV/AIDS, Malaria and other diseases have affected many children. Those who come to our Orphanage and Childcare program receive free medical care. We operate a small medical clinic to take care of the children when they fall sick.

 

Spiritual Growth: Impact Ministries sees the vital importance of children developing a personal relationship with Jesus Christ from a young age.  In the spiritual growth program, children are encouraged to develop good character traits that will transform their lives.  As they grow up, they will have the opportunity to apply these skills in their roles as parents and leaders, transforming their nation. Our born again Christian teachers instill Christian values and character in the children. We employ the Scriptures, worship and prayer times to help the children in their spiritual growth.
